“How My Personal Journey to Business Success Can Awaken the Entrepreneur in Anyone…”

At what point does earning a living take over your life? It seems to happen so gradually that you almost don’t notice. You spend less time with your family, on your hobbies and with your passions, since you’re too busy earning a pay check.

The next time you get your paycheck, I want you to hold it up to the light and really look at it, and then ask yourself these two questions… “Is this really all I’m worth?” – and – “Is this all there is to life?”

Whether you’re a highly paid professional or hold a lower wage earning position, your answer will most likely be “NO”. The problem is you may not know where to find a business or opportunity you can use to live the life you have always wanted, explore your passions, and realize your dreams and your fullest potential.

Hi, my name is Kimberly Kabel and I am a Home Business Entrepreneur in Liberty, Missouri.

I’m going to share something with you that you’re probably not used to hearing from a Home Business Entrepreneur. I will tell you even at the risk of losing your attention. And that is, I currently have a 9 to 5 JOB.

Most home business owners are afraid to admit such a thing, because they feel it would make them look weak to other business seekers. The reality is most home business opportunity seekers have a job and are looking for a way out.

So What Does That Mean…?

It means I’m on a journey…a journey many start but never finish. What makes me different from everyone else is that I have the power through a wonderful system that I can leverage that will help me win the race; I also have a very deep promise to keep.

Before I tell you about what I’ve currently found, I want to take you back to my previous business successes and failures. I also want to share with you a very valuable lesson I learned that meant the difference between success and failure in my past (and future) businesses.

My entrepreneurial journey began with a Multi Level Marketing (MLM) business. As you can imagine it was less than profitable. Not only did I lack experience, I couldn’t seem to master the art of sales and didn’t really understand what it took to run a successful home business.

Unfortunately, that’s the case with most people in their search for financial freedom who try their luck with MLM. Most people will quit their business after only 3 months.

From Passion to Business

On the other hand, I loved crafts. I used to paint ceramics; rent booths at craft shows and sell my beautiful work. It wasn’t bad money but it took hours of my time and expense in paint and supplies.

I have also conducted phone and door to door sales. Phone sales were great. I loved talking with people, was good at reading scripts and was very successful in up selling services. However; the whole idea just didn’t sit right with me. I felt as though I was ripping people off. My family thought I was crazy when I went into door to door sales. I had a blast! I traveled all over the United States , door to door. I didn’t make much money but really enjoyed interacting with new many different people.

So the question was…why was I successful in my sales interactions with people in previous positions and struggled so much in my MLM home business?

In MLM, it was a completely different approach. It was about my success as an entrepreneur. It was more about chasing people in hopes they would join or buy from me and coming from a place of need rather than a place of something great to offer. You will not succeed in this business or any business, for that matter, if you are coming from a place of need, want, or scarcity.

Before I knew it, I was back in what Robert Kyiosaki calls “The Rat Race” – go to work, get a paycheck, pay your bills and go back to work.

What Type of Business Could Reignite My Passion?

I did not need another repackaged MLM. I needed a business I could be passionate about, where I could interact with people, learn new skills and take what I learn to help others with their business efforts.

Before I tell you what I found, I want you to consider a few things. Consider your past business experiences (if you have any) and past work experiences. Where have they taken you?

Do you see your life as building towards something? Do you feel like there is something bigger for you yet to discover? Do you have an untapped purpose or passion? Maybe you’re just frustrated because you can’t see how all the pieces will come together.

It’s my personal belief that nothing happens by accident, and no experience or failure comes without a lesson. I’ve endured hard times in my life as well as have been very blessed.

I believe God has a plan for me and that things happen in life for a reason. My goals in life require me to be a certain type of person. What happens along that journey will provide experience and lessons I need to succeed.

I truly have no doubt in my mind that everything I’ve been working for and every experience, problem, and lesson I’ve learned have been leading up to something. Something bigger than just my own success and a million dollars in my bank account.

I consider the time in my sales position and MLM a learning experience. After all, I used to really think that you had to bug your family and friends to be successful in MLM. I used to think it was good marketing to put fliers on car windows, buy leads and cold call strangers asking them to join my business.

Now I am better educated and thanks to my new business opportunity, I’ve graduated from MLM and now use the internet to find leads and new business partners.

And here’s the best part…

Using one technique called “Attraction Marketing” taught in Mike Dillard’s book Magnetic Sponsoring. I no longer have to chase people down and beg them to join my business; they find me with credit card in hand, asking to be a part of my team!

As you can imagine, my family and friends are thrilled about that.
