If you want to succeed as a entreprenuer you can not think in the past. You have to get rid of the self consious negitive chatter like” I can’t do that” or “I’ll never be able to acomplish that”,instead you have to mentally tell yourself I’m a smart educated person and I can do that,or by this time next week I will acomplish my goal. Make a vision board ! If you don’t know what a vision board is ,it’s to lead you to your desired future. What kind of house you would live in,what kind of car you’ll drive, what kind of funiture you’ll have, what kind of clothes you’ll wear etc.to really work though,a vision board has to come not from culture but from your primordial, nonsocial self-the genetically unique animal/angel that contains your innate preferences. The artical I read in the June issue of Oprah magazine says when you assembble pictures that appeal to this deep self, you unleash one of the most powerful force our human imagination.Sparking your creative faculty is the reason you make the board. The board itself doesn’t impact reality;what changes your life is the process of creating the images of objects and events that will stick in your subconscious mind and steer your choices toward making the vision board real.In stead of putting up familiar images look for the images that make you say Ooooh! Aaaahhhh!Whoa! These thoughts register in your heart, your stomache but not your head. Once you make the vision board put it away stop thinking about it Don’t concentrate on the result you want ! The purpose of the vision board is to focus your attention briefly, after that the less mental strain you feel, the sooner good things will happen. The inital intense focus help us create ’search images’ and by relaxing, we increase our chances of noticing the things we seek.making a vision is not a subsitute for elbow grease, you still have to work hard to accomplish the goals on your board .
Hi Kimberly,
You are absolutely right, do not allow your thoughts to think about yesterday, let yesterday be in peace (we can’t change what have been).
Do never get attach to the outcome, but what we can do for other people.
